[00:00:07] Speaker A: So if we can, let's start in Luke 15 and then we'll just see where the Spirit leads us on that verse 8.
Parable of the Lost Coin.
How many of you love the Word of God?
Thank you Jesus for holy Scripture. Man, I'm helpless without this book.
Just want to encourage you guys to devour the Word of God. Colossians 3. I love that Paul writes that you and I should have the words of Christ dwelling in us richly.
And how many of you know without the presence of God in the Word, we're helpless as believers?
You know, I love that kind of Google Earth and pull back on Scripture. And you see in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God, and he was with God. And then you see all the way at the end of Revelation with the Lord's coming back, he comes back titled the Word of God.
You see, in Psalm 119, it's the largest chapter in all of scripture. It's all about the Word.
It's almost right in the middle of the entire, like, divine word of God. It's right in the middle. It's almost like a reminder that the most important thing in our life, outside of loving Jesus through intimately knowing him in prayer, is the Word, Scripture.
How many? Sometimes you get in scripture and you feel like, man, I feel like nothing's happening. I can't comprehend. It just feels flat. It feels, if you're honest, got a bunch of liars up in here, man. I'm teasing, but I mean, that happens to me all the time. I would encourage you. I don't care if it's Leviticus, man, just park in the book and say, holy Spirit, help me, I need Jesus. I'll sit there on like three words for like an hour, help me, Holy Spirit. And all of a sudden he'll come in with that light and it'll shine and get deep in you. And we need people eating the word of God on this hour and becoming the thing I love. Study to show yourself. Approved. But we need people to eat in this thing. And they are the thing, you know, like the fear of God. Hopefully we'll get there in a second. We need to carry Jesus in and through us. But watch this. Luke 15, verse 8. Many of you will remember this parable.
This is for that second dream of those of you who felt like, man, I missed the window.
You know, you have the rich young ruler, he came to. The Lord says, what must I do to be saved?
And the Lord says, he knew his heart. He knew his heart was in other things.
And so he said, sell all, give to the poor and follow me.
And scripture says the rich man, young ruler, he just. He walked away sorrowful because he didn't want to give that up. And so that door shut.
Maybe some of you were given that opportunity in God.
And I want to encourage you this weekend, I believe he's coming back again in a new way to resurrect your destiny and purpose.
How many of you know you can be saved, but you can miss purpose and destiny? Absolutely.
You know, these are the scriptures. They're a little bit hard to digest, but I kind of like them anymore, man. I just. Hours, super late. And we need to submit to this book, man.
Help us, Lord. James 1:21 says, with meekness, may the implanted word of God get in us. And so may we get low and get under it and say, I don't know the answers. I don't have them. I need you and your word.
And he will help us. But there's these hard passages. The Lord's trying to get in and through you. And I. And I would encourage us. Let's just submit. The hour's late. What better do you have to do?
Let's be honest, if we've been walking a certain way off the point I was mentioning, you can be saved. That's a gift. Praise God. But we can absolutely miss destiny.
This is where Jesus says things like this, don't let someone else take your crown.
We don't like those type verses because they can kind of step on our toes and this and the other. But I'm sitting there thinking about it, like, what we've been doing.
If it looks the same next year, like, why, what for?
Let's just go all in in this hour, really just submit, say, help me, Lord. Repent to one another. We're all, you know, fall short of the glory. But this is the hour. I'm telling you, it's very, very late to go all in for Jesus.
I was remembering, I don't know, I think yesterday, a recent dream I had super out there. But I have those at times where they're biblical. But how many of you know, sometimes God can be prophetic in interesting ways. He's got four living creatures around the throne.
There's that side to God. I'm just saying, with four heads and there's eyes and wings and all this. And so sometimes he'll speak in this way.
And I love it. I'm not wired that way, which is funny. I'm very. I love to catch bass, cut firewood. I Played baseball my whole life. I'm just very. I'm not spooky, you know. It's okay if you are. I'm just not that I'm not wired that way.
I'm very just practical and.
But things he's been showing me lately. We're at the end of the end, and I pray we'd wake up, man. And I'm talking to me first.
Like, we are really in the late, late hour. I think if we could peek into heaven right now, you'd see urgency like we've never seen. Prepare the bride. I mean, he's on the edge of coming back.
Could it be 10 years, 30? I don't know that, but I'm telling you, the hours, urgent.
So I go into this dream, and we. I don't know, maybe the last couple of years, been going through a lot of, I'd say more resistance than I've known in a good way. How many of you know resistance is good in God?
You start looking at the kingdom of heaven and you think, man, that's beautiful. It's made up of stones and gemstones and walls. And you go, wait a minute.
How are stones made? Through pressure and heat.
Pearly gates. Beautiful. All one united pearl each of the 12 gates. Wait a minute. The kingdom of Heaven. How are pearls? How do they come about? They just appear beautifully. No, it's irritation for long periods of time.
How many of you love just good old irritation for years in a row?
Pressure and heat consistently.
It's like, this is what you sign up for in following God. This is where he says, I'm telling you, before you even step on the threshold of following me, you've got to deny you this thing and about you.
And if you make it past that threshold, then you pick up your cross. And that's not. That's every day.
And we die to ourselves. I love that Pastor Roman mentioned that. So help us, Lord. So I go into this dream, and it helped me because I was like, man, the heat, the pressure on. I'm thankful. On paper, the Lord's doing more than he ever has. But behind doors, the pressure was going on.
So this purple amethyst there in scripture, this massive one, appears to me in this dream. Just a voice coming out of it, and I'm losing. Some of you are like, this is strange. The morning session just got weird.
But this purple, it's a crystal, beautiful purple rock that's mentioned in the Book of Revelation. There's a voice that's coming out of it or watching me get crushed. I Mean, just going through, you know, some. Some trying times.
So I'm like, praise God. Let's save me. I'm looking at the rock thinking, let's get me out of this.
And this also will give you sometimes the attitude of heaven on things. How many of you know the Lord's more interested in making you like the Lord than getting you out of problems right away?
People don't like this kind of preaching, I'm telling you.
It says that he comes to us to comfort us in our troubles, not get us out of them.
And so those that are really like, lord, help me. Just. I just want to be like you. He said, what for? For you, it's the highest goal.
He'd be like, okay, I heard that, and I saw you meant it.
And he'll help us, man. He's so good. So, yeah, this purple rock, this voice has come out of this purple crystal amethyst.
And they were just staring at me. He goes, yeah, you know why they're trying to kill you because of your call.
And he goes, you know why they can't kill you because of your call.
So chill. This voice is coming. He's just real calm and, like, just another day on the block.
I'm like, thanks, that's encouraging. Can we save me now?
Never got saved. Came out of the dream, and that blessed me personally. But the bigger picture, what I'm trying to point out is I couldn't remember the verse. I had to go find it to let you know the hour's late.
This was not long ago. And you read through all of the 12 stones of the foundations in scripture, and the last and final one is the purple amethyst. It's the foundations. It's the apostolic stones of the kingdom.
And I knew the Lord was, like, sending a message far greater than my little personal issues, but trying to say, hey, man, this is the end of the end. There are no other stones coming. There are none.
And so I don't care if you're young adults, youth in your 80s, let's make it count in this hour. You know, it really is late. So anyway, verse 8, parable of the Lost Coin.
I'll go ahead and read it. I'm in the new King James if it matters, but yours will probably read similar.
Or what? This is the Lord talking or What? Woman having 10 silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it.
And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, rejoice with me for I have found the peace which I lost.
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
And so this is powerful. I won't be on it too long. And then I would love to just talk to you from my heart on loving Jesus, living holy, fear of God, just where that goes, and make room for the end to pray and the Holy Spirit to move. But basically, in this passage, scholars would tell you these 10 coins in that current day, in biblical times that the Lord's referring to were 10 coins that a bridegroom would typically give to the one he was going to marry.
It would be the equivalent of a modern day engagement ring. And they would sew these 10 coins into the headdress. And so it was her promise of what she was given from the bridegroom. Very valuable.
The coins, they were a drachma, so they weren't too, too valuable. Some studies would show like a month's worth wages, some a day, but the value is in the completion of becoming one with him.
And so that's why she's like. You'd think, man, you found one coin, call your friends, neighbors, rejoice over one coin. I mean, you on the coin.
But I think even from that dream, to kind of find a biblical basis for it sometimes, how many of you know, sometimes in God, the Lord, he gives us all that we need to fulfill our destiny and follow him, which I love to look at ultimately, is becoming one with him, the highest goal.
You see Paul, baddest apostle in the land. He wrote half the New Testament, two thirds of the New, and he'd slip off in Philippians 3 and say things like this. He'd say, look, man, I got a pretty hefty resume if that's what you all care about. This is my version, goes down the line of, man, I got this. I can hang my hat on this.
This might impress you. He goes, but I'm telling you, when I start comparing it to the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus, my Lord, he goes, it's complete garbage. He literally says that to knowing Jesus.
John 17:3. Jesus says, this is eternal life, not golden streets and jumping in crystal seas. I love all that.
This is eternal life. To know the Father and Jesus Christ, whom you've sent.
Leonard Ravenhill, hero of mine a generation ago, powerful man of God, he would say this. He'd say he'd liken the Gospels to the outer courts, the Gospel of John to the inner courts, in John 17, to the Holy of holies, and you have, right. In verse three, Jesus said, this is eternal life. This is the reason for living, to know him.
And so I look at this headdress. These 10 coins of what the Lord gives us in it is salvation, of course, but as I mentioned, to fulfill what he's called us to is a totally different thing.
How many of you guys know that just because you're saved doesn't mean your purpose is going to fulfill itself.
There's a cooperation needed, and I love that. Pastor Roman said that we've got to be filled with the Holy Spirit because he's the one that helps us. He's the one that empowers us and purifies us to do this.
But far too often, I think we just. We start to trick ourselves.
I know, because I've done this plenty. I still have to constantly be reoriented by God.
We just justify things and we don't yield to Scripture. And I feel like the Lord's calling us in this hour to sell all, as I mentioned, to follow him.
But these 10 coins, you know, we can be walking with God for quite some time. They can be many different things, but nevertheless, the full 10 complete our alignment in God.
I love Hebrews 10 is a peculiar verse I'll never forget. When I.
When I first read it, I was like, man, I think Paul wrote Hebrews. It's debatable. But the writer of Hebrews, I was like, man, Paul, that's a typo. Huh? It says that God has forever made perfect.
Those that are being made holy are set apart and sanctified. And I go, man, that don't make sense. If you're forever perfect in God's eyes, how are you still being made holy?
And the Lord began to show me more and more that basically everything in scripture is this way. Our position in Christ, we must relationally align to, and so help us, these excuses. There's just a sloppy side. Well, I'm the righteousness of Christ.
But you are by position. But relationally, you must align.
And not by your own strength. Yeah, not by your own strength. I'm saying the Holy Spirit. We've got to stay deep in prayer.
Abide in him, John 15, and you'll bear much fruit. It's all Him.
But there is a choosing. That's why Paul and Peter, they say things like, flee youthful lusts, pursue righteousness.
Seek first the kingdom and his righteousness.
Clothe yourself in humility. You know, you go, well, man, I am the righteousness of Christ. Well, why do you need to pursue that which you are because we're relationally aligning with it. And so.
But in these 10 coins, I feel like if we aren't careful, I think on different levels we could all, if we're being honest, say, yeah, along the way I've dropped a coin or two here and there in God. It just happens. You get busy, you get distracted.
Sometimes it's sin, issues of compromise and little foxes.
Sometimes it's Martha.
Luke, chapter 10. You just get super busy in God to where you think what you're doing for God is more important than the foundation of sitting at his feet and doing it from that place.
And it can slowly happen in time.
In Luke 10, you need me to do something? Oh, that don't bother me, man. You're good. This guy's like a ninja. I've been watching him. He doesn't miss anything, man.
But Luke 10, it could be like Martha and you started like a Mary in the highest prize. That's why that first commandment's first for a reason.
The first and greatest by value everything to love and know him.
But I love the second one is like it super close, but it's still second.
And so she sits at his feet to say the word. This is the Lord, she's super low.
Help us Lord, stay super low.
And she's at his feet and she listened to his word number one priority.
But from it you start abiding in the vine and you go, man, there's some fruit starting to happen that's pretty impactful and it's giving him glory. And you start looking more at the fruit. I've done this a million times. And you go, man, gotta make sure that fruit does this and looks pretty for so and so. And man, maybe we add to it and buy some store bought fruit to make it look more appealing, whatever it is.
And all the while we don't realize that you leave the original place of first love.
And that could be the corn we drop and for you know it two years down the road. You don't realize, man, I'm a Martha now.
Amen. I find myself telling the Lord what to do now use me because of this Lord, I know the city better than you rock this city because you like he doesn't care for the city more than you.
And again, I've been here Martha, if you really look at the scripture, she looks him eye to eye.
It's a dangerous place.
You get so used by God and busy doing, doing, doing that you look at the Lord and you think he doesn't understand.
You start having to tell him to tell the sister, because what I'm doing is more valuable.
And again, never to take away work while the day is at hand. Send laborers. We're gonna pray here in a second. I'm for all that. It's just. It's second because it's second.
And that's all I'm saying. So that could be the coin many different ways. But I pray this morning. These three quick points that we just read through, I just kind of want to highlight that he'd bring us back to so we can retrieve the coin for his glory. So watch this verse 8 again.
Or what? Woman having 10 silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp. This is the first one we'll talk about.
Sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it. Those three things, because sometimes when we lose a coin, you've got to see first how many know. Sometimes you don't even know you lost the coin. You're down to like seven. Don't know you lost three.
I've been there.
And you've got to sometimes step back, slow down, and light a lamp, which is him and his truth and His Word.
And then sometimes the house has to be swept because how many of you know you. If you can see all the lights are on in here, but there's.
There's still mess everywhere. The coin, you still aren't going to be able to see it.
There's got to be a sweeping clean, then a searching thoroughly for the things of God. I love that.
And I was. When we'll get into that in a second. But light a lamp. Kind of touched on it already, but may the Lord again. You know, the Bible says that the word is a lamp unto our feet.
We've got to get into the word of God.
I love prophecy, prophetic, and this, that and the other. But I'm telling you, nothing will change your life like the word of God.
I'd mentioned it. Psalm 119. When you get a second, just park in Psalm 119, like everything's in there.
There's a verse that literally says the word of God can reset your soul.
So many of you may have been hurt, deeply wounded years ago, and you can't shake them. The thing.
Save your money on all the deliverance. I love that. But get in this word and all of a sudden you're like, man, I'm just free.
Please don't mishear me. I love the deliverance. Go for it. But people don't realize how free. You shall know the truth and it'll set you free.
It's powerful, man.
You'd be like deep in Leviticus, like, I don't know what I just read, but man, you just come out just feet bathed in butter.
That's. You all know job 29. 6. It's incredible.
Job says, oh, if it were as the days of old. He's recollecting the days of old. He says, when the days when my feet were bathed in butter.
Meaning he's just sliding through everything effortlessly, just skating through life. He remembers those days. And so that's what the word of God will do to you as well.
But Psalm 119, meaning, you know, as I mentioned, if there's a deep soul wound and it's like you feel like everything you step into in life, that filter is there, you are hurt, that relationship, you just can't not see them through that filter. Psalm 119 says, the word will reset your soul like it was never there. It's incredible.
Anyway, you could spend forever there, but may we light a lamp? Just going to be quick and simple here to find this coin again. Because a lot of us, we can pray, do impartation, but sometimes this is Jesus, you know, that mentioned this parable. He goes out of his way to say, she had to light a lamp, sweep the house clean, and search thoroughly.
Sometimes the things of God are not just going to fall in your lap.
I love. One of my favorites is Jeremiah 29:13.
Everybody loves 11, man. We got the bumper stickers and the T shirts.
You know, I know the future I have for you. Future, future of hope and peace. And I love that one. But if you keep reading connected to that, you go, how do I have a future and a hope and peace and all this verse 13, he says, the day you seek me with all of your heart, that's the day you'll find me.
Think about that.
What is today? Saturday?
Not tomorrow. Tomorrow's still conference. You gotta just be here. But say Monday. You pick Monday.
Any of us in here, this is scripture. You can hold the Lord to it. And you take Monday and say, Monday, I'm going to seek the Lord with all of my heart.
Shut off my phone. Everything else. Scripture says you'll find him.
He says, the day you seek me with all of your heart, that's the day you'll find me. And how often do we go year after year, and we never do that.
We seek him 80% while 20% we're still checking our text messages. Or 70% while so and so emailed, or I got my to do list or this, that and the other.
And man, if we just take a few days to pursue God, everything can change.
And I love that. Just Scripture, it's so clear. If you look at it, everything's not a free pass.
Just because it's God's will for you doesn't mean it's going to fall on your lap and just appear. Sometimes we must seek it diligently.
The book of James says that those that the prayer, the fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. Fervent prayer.
James also says that if we draw near to God, he'll draw near to us.
So I love the balance. Does God chase us down and meet us? He does. But sometimes we must draw near first. And he draws nearest to us. He draws near to us.
But light a lamp. I'm trying to go quick.
Seek God. Get in his word again.
Second one.
The house must be swept clean.
And sometimes we've been in it so long, we don't even think it's dirty anymore.
And this is where the lamp's soaking because you flick that thing on in God and yield and say, God, I don't know anymore. I just know I've been walking for a minute now, and I feel like I'm missing a coin.
I know I'm saved. But this whole thing of your bride and becoming like you, for you, and even the excitement, if you read at the end, the Holy Spirit conference, the Spirit, his main ride or die at the end is the bride. They're one. They are literally saying one call. Come.
They're yelling, come. They burn for him to come.
And so if even that has started to fade, your desire for the Lord and just destiny feels like, I lost it. I lost the coin. How do I get it back?
It's getting back into prayer, His Word.
And when we do that, sometimes you'd be like, oh, my gosh, I didn't realize all the dust and the buildup that was here, the little compromises, the foxes. How many of you know song of Solomon? 2 says that it's the little foxes that destroy the vine.
You know, I was talking about John 15, and it says, abide in the vine and bear much fruit. But isn't it ironic that the little foxes destroy the vine?
And so if we let these little compromises in, they will start to whittle away at our coins, if you will. You just lose them. You lose touch and so on, sweeping clean. I pray the Lord would do it afresh. You see this all throughout Scripture, where, Paul, how many love holiness?
Yeah. That's not a popular message, but we need to be like the Lord, the Holy Spirit, titled holy for a reason.
I love that Pastor Roman was talking about that, that, you know, he could be named. I've said this before with a power spirit, wonder spirit, miracle, working spirit. But he's the Holy Spirit for a reason.
And so the Lord is after this, in this hour. And when we'll clean things up by his grace, by his doing, all of a sudden you can start finding things in God that you didn't realize you lost.
And I've been here plenty where he'll constantly redirect me and tap me on the shoulder. You know, one of my favorites is Ephesians 5.
Again, in the context of just being swept clean. The fear of the Lord. May holiness come again and be attractive.
And it's not this religious to do. It's pure love in God is what it is. Anything not from God in our life just hinders love.
But Ephesians 5, Paul writes about the Lord. It says, the Lord is coming back for a bride without spot or blemish, and he's looking for a glorious church. Listen to the definition here, what the Lord's looking for. If you just posted up next to Jesus and said, lord, what are you looking for in me?
A glorious church. And it says, a church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing.
You see how that deepens.
You can have spots in you and you absolutely need cleaning.
You can be clean but still have wrinkles. You guys know what I'm talking about.
Leave your shirt in the dryer too long, but it's still wrinkles that he's after getting those out of. And then he goes on deeper and says, any such thing.
It can be a piece of Lent. And he's doing this in us in this hour. So I pray we'd yield our life to him and allow him to help us live pure and holy. I love that. Paul writes to Timothy in second Timothy. He says, look, man, if you want to be a special utensil used in the hands of God, I want you to be a special utensil.
I've taught on this before, but, you know, you have those sporks, those little cheap plastic. They're good for nothing.
You get them at, like Taco Bell.
You can't poke anything with them. And then you can't eat soup because the soup runs out. They're useless.
So you could be a spork. Basically. This is what Paul's saying in second Timothy 2. He says, look, you want to Be a utensil for everyday use that goes in the trash? Or do you want to be a special utensil used in the hands of God?
And listen to this one prerequisite, Paul says. He says, if you want to be a special utensil, he says, listen, Timothy, listen to me.
Keep yourself clean.
Special utensil, Paul, but tell me something. Gotta be something better, huh? Gotta be something. Learn to preach the paint off the walls, prophesy and read people's mess. I'm telling you, Timothy, trust me on this one. Keep yourself clean.
Help us, Lord.
Man, this isn't condemning. I feel like the Lord, if you sat across from him. He's so loving.
His eyes burn with fire. And Malachi 3 says, He's a refining. He can't help it. It's just love. He's a refiner's fire because he's pure love. He just burns. And so you're staring at him across the table, and he's just.
He's not. He's just madly in love.
He's burning.
And he sees those wrinkles. I feel like he's so kind and patient. That's just how he is with me. And he sees the wrinkles. And he'll tell you.
And you go, yeah, but, man, I've justified this one.
I don't have any spots. I'm kind of in the middle. I'm in a good spot. I don't have any spots. I'm clean. Just these wrinkles. And this one wrinkle. What about them? They have spots. And he goes, all right. And he'll just leave it alone for a second, Just.
Just stare at you, love you, sip some tea.
He'll just say, I'm proud of you.
He'll just tell you all the good about you, just affirm you. And he'll nudge a little closer, gets a little hotter.
You're like, man, I love him so much, though. But why is this. You know, Malachi 3 says he sits as a refiner's fire.
He doesn't just stand for a moment, walk by. He'll just post up by you and just sit there and just burn.
And then he'll ask you again next week. See that wrinkle right there? You don't want that.
It's not helping you, friend. It's holding you back. I've got so much more.
So much more.
And sometimes he'll go, thank you. Help me, Lord. And he'll iron it out by his weighty glory.
I didn't need that.
And then all of a sudden, Your coin comes back. You're like, oh, my gosh. And purpose makes sense. You can see now, and you feel like you click back in place. It's like a key in a chamber. It's powerful, man. And then you have those that like, no, man, I love this wrinkle. It's been with me forever.
Or we justify this wrinkle. I can't get free of this wrinkle. It's just part of my genetic history, whatever it is, and we hang onto it. You know what? I feel like the Lord does? He goes, okay, I've told him like a hundred times, they want that wrinkle. He'll just stay with you. He loves you. You'll be saved.
But sometime we will realize in heaven, this is the heavier side people don't like.
Scripture says he'll wipe every tear away.
And I feel like those tears are regret when we see truth.
And he'll set us free in that moment and welcome us in. But it's like, man, we. Why he made us. For him, there is no thing greater. You don't want it, you know? And so. So I love that he's. He's purging us. And the pastor Roman mentioned John the Baptist, baddest prophet to land the Old Testament coming into the New, you know? And he, in Matthew 3:12, if you read closely, he prophesied the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Spirit, when he's talking about Jesus, he's prophesying the baptism of the Holy Spirit after his ministry.
So Jesus walks the earth 30 years, sinless, dies, rises again, sends the Spirit. And John's sitting here prophesying that.
And he goes, look, boys, I'm telling you, I baptize unto repentance with water. You know that all too well. This one coming after me, he's mightier.
There's something mighty on him.
There's a spirit of might on him. Of all adjectives, he's mightier.
He's super kind, gentle, but he's got might on him. There's a mighty angel that comes out in Revelation 10. I think in Scripture, there's might on the Lord in this hour. He's not playing around.
And so I love that side, too. But he goes, I'm telling you right now, I'm not worthy to untie his sandals, even carry them. He's mightier.
And he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire, right? Pastor Roman just quoted it, and he makes this interesting correlation. The very next verse, Matthew 3:12, he says he'll baptize you in the Holy Spirit, which is a wind and fire.
And you guys remember in Acts, chapter two, what happened. Rushing, mighty wind blew through the place and individual divided tongues of fire hit every head.
Well, John correlates it with this. He goes, oh, yeah, he's mightier. He'll baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, and this is how you'll know.
And then he goes straight into this verse. He goes, he has talking about the Lord, love this, and please hear it in love. He's not a religious stickler. He's burning for his bride and he's given grace, man, bucket loads right now to woo her in.
But he said he talking about the Lord has a winnowing fan in his hand. He's prophesying this.
He will baptize you, Holy Spirit and fire.
He very next verse. This is how he correlates the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire.
He will. He has a winnowing fan in his hand and he's thoroughly purging the threshing floor.
He's very thorough. It's amazing that my friend here just caught the water bottles and just that's how the Lord is. He'll see anything.
Very kind and loving, but he's thoroughly cleaning it. This is sweeping our house out.
And then he'll burn up the chaff.
This is the fire. So John the Baptist, he correlates the wind and fire to. I'm telling you right now, he's got a winnowing fan. It produces wind. What does that do? Separates the chaff from the wheat.
He's separating things. Pastor Ben, last night, man, it was so powerful.
Consecrate, set apart. I was talking to Pastor Roman this morning. I don't know if y' all talked yet, but the prophetic word, he's like, bro, he had no idea. He had no idea. The field, this, that and others. Nailing in the prophetic. But you kept hearing, consecrate, set apart, set him apart. That's what the wind does.
The Lord sees the beautiful grain and you and I the wheat. He throws us up. And then he's got a winnowing fan in his hand and he's super thorough. If we will let him be, he will not miss the slightest ounce of chaff. If we will let him. If you want it, he'll let you hang onto it. He'll just be cheesing the whole time, loving you. He said, no, I get it. You think it's going to be meaningful to you, but it's not.
You don't need it so that wind. We say, fill me. Holy Spirit, baptize me. John the Baptist sees it as the Lord's hand. He's stepping in with a fan separation and then burning it once and for all.
Do you guys feel the Lord doing it in you? Same. I'm so thankful.
Yeah. And he's burning it to where you can't retrieve it again. It's just gone. It's gone.
It was powerful. The young man. The testimony you all shared from the school of ministry which if you guys just a shameless plug man. Get in like what are we doing? Get in the school, the church.
Go all in with Kingdom. Yeah. Movement, man.
You just have to in this hour. Hebrews 10:25 says that we should not neglect the coming together of the saints. So just go all into the sour. But this removal of chaff, the Lord is doing it on a very refined level. Sweeping our house clean.
Last one.
Searching thoroughly.
I love that. You know, you watch the Lord's prayer life and you can see it all over scripture. But mark chapter one, verse 35, one of my favorites.
Just to stir up seeking God again.
Not legalism, but a burning pursuit. I'm telling you, if you ran with Moses and these guys, they wouldn't even talk the same language as us.
Moses knew things like this. God said, moses, come on up the mountain. Seek me.
Come up the mountain. He'd wait on the top of the mountain for one day, two day nothing. Three, four, five, sixth day, a cloud comes seventh day. These guys would pursue heaven.
Moses wrote Psalm 92. He says, he who dwells. They have language like this. Dwells in the secret place of the most high.
Is that rain?
Maybe AC or something. Maybe we're hearing things. That's awesome.
John 15. I touched on it. Abide, right? These are long periods of time of being with God. So just want to encourage on this last. Searching thoroughly for it, seeking God.
How many of you know, Hebrews says that he's a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.
And I think sometimes we just, you know, we can look at that and get you say ah, you're a little religious man. I'm just led by the spirit. You know, he's led by the spirit, folks. And I love that. I want to be. That's Romans 8. But we've got to seek God. So Mark 1 says that Jesus got up well before the sun. How many of you love well before the sun?
Like three hands.
No, I get it. It could be at night for you. It's funny, there's A peculiar verse in Isaiah where he says, I may flip it, but he says, with my spirit, I seek you early.
And my soul longs for you at night.
And you're like, I see what he was doing there. Isaiah probably wasn't a morning person. You know, he needs the strength of the Spirit to seek God early.
He's got like eight espressos in the spirit early.
But if the soul is night, he's like, yes, Lord. So whatever you know suits your fancy, but seek God. So Mark 1:35 says, Jesus got up well before the sun, well before probably four in the morning sun hadn't been up for hours, and he went to a solitude place to be with the Father in prayer.
Often it would say things like this. He went a stone throw away to be in prayer. He'd pray all night to choose the disciples. It took all the way to Luke chapter 11 in the gospel of Luke for the disciples to finally say, lord, teach us how to pray.
Because he was constantly pulling away in secret.
And so we absolutely already touched on that. From Hebrews 10, you don't neglect the coming together of the saints, this conference, the corporate prayer.
But when you're searching, you notice she found that coin and then she went out and brought in the friends and family.
There's something to do with this in secret, seeking God.
And I'm telling you, what we need to be careful of in this generation is if you start to realize you encounter God more in corporate and you hear God more in corporate, and you prophesy more in corporate, but you get in prayer and can't even hear his voice.
It's flipped.
Seen this? There's a corporate anointing and prophetic flow, and we're prophesying this, that and the other. But we get in prayer and we don't even know what the will of God is for our life.
Yeah. So it's not to be condemning. It's just, help us, Lord. Because if we know him, his sheep know his voice.
And you want the first commandment where it is. You want to be just deeply saturated in prayer. So we could go on there forever but light our lamp. This is the word in prayer.
Purity. May he do it again. The fear of God. I love that that precious woman of God hit on that. It says out of Isaiah 11:2 that there's seven spirits that Jesus just lived in. Might, counsel, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, fear of the Lord. And then it goes out of its way in verse three to say Jesus delighted in the fear of the Lord.
Like when he thought about that One, he just smiled. He delighted in it. He never left the fear of God. There's these three proclamations angels in Revelation 14. The first one comes in the mid heavens and he yells out over the earth, fear God.
Worship him and give him glory.
Hebrews 5 is powerful, talking about the prayer life of Jesus and I'll land it. But it says that Jesus prayed prayers with loud cries and tears.
But his prayers were heard because of his reverence, the fear of God. Isaiah 66:2 says that these are whom God looks upon. So if you had the eyes of God roaming aisle to island here, it says that his eyes look upon those that are broken and contrite in spirit and tremble at his word.
So may the fear of God come again.
And I love that in the book of Acts, you can see every time it says fear gripped every soul. You guys can go ahead and stand. We'll get ready to pray in the Book of Acts.
Maybe the keys could help me or worship team.
In the Book of Acts. I love it. Every time you see the fear of God come in, it says fear gripped every soul. Then mighty wonders and sign started to break out.
And we. We need. How many know we need the power of God again, like on unprecedented level.
You know, it's not about a sign, it's about him. But the disciples in Acts 4, they pray things like this, like move in mighty wonders, healings and miracles.
But you'd always see raw power coming on unprecedented levels, tied into the fear of the Lord.
Because I feel like when he finds vessels, he can trust that walk in true reverence, he can entrust the God kingdom and without measure, you know, so help us Lord.
Okay, so before we pray, how many of you would say the Because I want to see. Do we just pray corporate or is it just a few where we can pray, lay hands on you, if that's okay with leadership.
How many would say the lost coin you felt like that, that bore witness with you, that you feel like somewhere along the way you missed possibly what God had for you, and you just don't know how to find it back. You can raise your hand real high.
Okay, awesome.
