[00:00:07] How many is excited for the word of God?
[00:00:10] Amen.
[00:00:13] I believe this is one of the most important subjects we could actually talk about.
[00:00:17] And that subject is the nephilim, specifically how they brought makeup into this world to bring a depravity upon humanity.
[00:00:26] No, I'm just kidding.
[00:00:28] I'm totally not gonna preach. That's Roman sermon next week, so tune in. We're gonna hear all the details there.
[00:00:35] Yeah, I got you. I picked your sermon for you.
[00:00:38] I know about a real note. I want to jump into the Old Testament, go through the life of Abraham here really quickly and kind of jump into what the Lord has for us.
[00:00:46] I love talking about Abraham. I actually spend about seven hours teaching about his life with our second year students every year. It's by far my favorite lesson series I get to do. And we don't have seven hours to dig into his life, but I actually want to turn To Genesis chapter 15, verse 6, as the start of this message this afternoon.
[00:01:06] Genesis, chapter 15, verse 6. If we can get it on the screen, that'd be amazing.
[00:01:11] It says this then Abraham believed in the Lord, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
[00:01:20] So Abraham was a man that was blessed by God. He was offered divine protection, favor, financial blessing, relational blessing, land. But all of these blessings were contingent upon Genesis 15:6, his right standing with God through faith.
[00:01:37] That was the foundation of all the blessing that Abraham got to experience.
[00:01:42] And we actually see he began to ask the Lord, how do I know that these things are going to take place? And. And later on in Genesis 15, God commands Abraham to do what's called the blood path covenant. Now, if it's your first Sunday here, it's about to get a little weird. But bear with me, we're talking about ancient, ancient Eastern culture. A blood path covenant is where you take a series of animals, cut them in half, put them on either side of a pathway, and let their blood run down the middle. I know it's a little crazy. I have no sermon illustration for you today. Don't worry.
[00:02:15] But what would happen is both parties that are entering into a covenant would walk through this blood path. And the imagery was powerful. It was, if you don't fulfill your obligation to this covenant, may you end up like these dead animals as a very serious covenant to enter into. So Abraham set it up, he cut the carcasses, he had the blood running down. But actually, in Genesis 15, we see that Abraham was doubting and whether or not he could actually walk through and do his part in the covenant that God wants to make with him. He had no doubt that God would fulfill his part as the faithful and holy God. But he had doubt that he could fulfill his part. Are you tracking with me?
[00:02:55] And so he. He waited so long that the birds of the air were trying to get at the carcasses. And all of a sudden, he fell into a deep sleep.
[00:03:03] And he had this dream that a furnace appeared. And a furnace, along with a torch, both walked through the. The blood path covenant. In other words, God was telling Abraham, hey, I'm going to walk through for my portion of this covenant, and I'm going to walk through for your portion of the covenant.
[00:03:19] I'm going to be faithful to all the promises which I'm giving you, even if you're faithless. I will be faithful and I will take your faithlessness upon myself.
[00:03:30] Powerful picture, right?
[00:03:33] It is a picture of Jesus, and we'll get to that.
[00:03:36] About 500 years later, Abraham has a bunch of kids.
[00:03:39] They're filling up the promise, they're filling up the land of Egypt.
[00:03:43] They get delivered by Moses. They're in the wilderness, about to enter into the promised land, and they enter into a covenant with God. We call it the Mosaic covenant.
[00:03:52] But what made this covenant a little bit different was that, yes, it had a list of blessings and curses, but those blessings and curses were dependent upon Israel's obedience, not God's.
[00:04:03] So if you have your Bibles, you can turn up to Deuteronomy 28 or throw it up on the screen there. Deuteronomy 28, verse 1.
[00:04:11] It says this.
[00:04:14] Now it shall be that if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments which I'm commanding you today.
[00:04:22] The Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. All the blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God.
[00:04:33] So there's going to be a list of blessings and curses, and it's dependent upon their obedience. If they're righteous, they'll be blessed. If they're living unrighteous, they will experience the curses.
[00:04:44] Now, that actually is not the ideal way to live.
[00:04:49] So God prophesied that there would come a day where God becomes a man, lives the perfect life that we could never do as Israel die, get buried, rise from the dead, and actually promise that anyone who believes in him receives his righteousness. They get to experience all of the blessings and none of the curses, not based on what they did in their own performance, but based on what Christ did and his performance.
[00:05:15] Can someone Say Amen.
[00:05:17] And that's exactly what we see. So if you. Let's go to Galatians 3:13.
[00:05:22] It's the key section of this sermon.
[00:05:26] Before we read that, Hebrews 8. 6 says something really powerful. It says that you and I, we have a better covenant enacted on better promises.
[00:05:36] So whatever we read in the Old Testament, all of the miracles we see, that's an older covenant with lesser promises.
[00:05:43] All the healings we see that that's an older covenant with lesser promise. All the prosperity we see that they experience as an older covenant based on lesser promises. Or we have a greater covenant based on greater promises because of what Jesus has done. Can you say Amen? Are you awake this afternoon?
[00:06:00] Are you sure?
[00:06:02] Just nod your head if you're awake. All right.
[00:06:04] Praise God. Praise God.
[00:06:07] So Galatians 3:13. You know, when I first read this, I took months and months to study it because I'm like, is this actually true, or does this just sound good?
[00:06:15] And after doing my study, I've realized, no, this is actually true. This is actually. This is the Gospel. Look at this. Galatians 3:13.
[00:06:22] If we could do, we'll do this one. Why not? But Christ has rescued us or redeemed us from the curse pronounced by the law.
[00:06:32] When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree through Christ Jesus. God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith.
[00:06:54] Wow.
[00:06:56] What was Paul talking about here? Paul founded the church at Galatia in Asia Minor, and he taught them the Gospel of the grace of God. That they are righteous through their faith in Jesus, not through their own good works. That they're blessed because they've believed in the Messiah, not on their own records of rights and wrongs.
[00:07:13] But the problem is, after Paul left, some false teachers, Jewish brethren came in and began to teach the Church of Galatia. No, you actually need to obey parts of the law. And they begin to drag them into the old way of thinking. So much so that Paul wrote them a letter, bewildered, asking who bewitched them and started to share with him the Gospel that he shared before he says, why do you want to go back to the Mosaic Law, where your blessings are dependent on your obedience? Why don't you go back a little bit further to Abraham, the father of the faith, where his blessings were not dependent on your obedience, but on God's Obedience.
[00:07:47] So he's trying to encourage them. Don't go to an older covenant or don't go to a lesser covenant, the Mosaic one.
[00:07:54] Go back to what Abraham did. He believed God, it was reckoned to him as righteousness. So my message for you this afternoon is called redeemed from the curse.
[00:08:05] Redeemed from the curse.
[00:08:10] And my point is this, because you are in Christ Jesus and you have his righteousness. He's lived perfectly righteous on your behalf. All of the blessings of the Old Testament law are yours in abundance, and all of the curses are not yours.
[00:08:25] In other words, if you find a blessing in Deuteronomy or Exodus or Leviticus, that's yours, that's not for somebody else, that's yours. Christ earned it for you, and you're hidden with Him.
[00:08:36] And if you see any of the curses listed in that law that is not yours, if you're experiencing any of those negative curses, it's time to get your faith up and to cast those things aside and say, jesus paid for me to be completely free so I don't have to walk in the curse of the law. I can walk in the blessing of God.
[00:08:54] I have an incredible passion to, to give Jesus the full reward of his suffering.
[00:08:59] It's why I teach a gospel class with our school, because I know that when, when God in the flesh, Jesus hung onto the whipping post, he had something in mind that he was paying for. And then when he was hung on a cross, nails in his hands, nails in, in his feet, a hole in his side, he had something in mind he was paying for. And when he was buried in the tomb and rose on the third day, he was resurrecting something and, and I want him to get the full reward of his suffering.
[00:09:26] Can someone say hallelujah?
[00:09:29] My God, my God, I want Jesus to get the full reward of his suffering.
[00:09:37] You know, recently in America, we celebrated a holiday called Juneteenth.
[00:09:43] And I think it actually has incredible prophetic significance to us.
[00:09:49] Juneteenth. It celebrates when the Emancipation Proclamation that the slaves have been free reached the furthest point of the continental U.S. at that point, Galveston, Texas. Abraham Lincoln in January 1, 1863, declared legally that all the slaves in the U.S. are free.
[00:10:07] But that news of freedom didn't reach Texas until two and a half years later because it was outside of the Union's control. They had to warfare and fight through the Civil War to get the news to the people.
[00:10:20] In other words, there were slaves in Texas that were under bondage for two and a half years, even though they were legally free, they lacked revelation and there wasn't someone warring on their behalf to get this news to them.
[00:10:33] And I feel like in many parts of the church, we're the same way that 2000 years ago Jesus has paid a price to set us free from captivity, that he took the curse upon himself when he hung on the cross.
[00:10:45] But because we lack revelation in these things, we don't get to experience them. We live in bondage, even though the price was already paid.
[00:10:53] The Greek word redeemed, it's a marketplace term. It literally means a price paid to set a captive free from slavery.
[00:11:00] Can you say the price has been paid?
[00:11:05] My God.
[00:11:07] Thank you very much.
[00:11:09] So what, what are we talking about? Paid for what? What curses are we going to talk about today?
[00:11:14] We have three in mind. So if you have your Bibles, go to Deuteronomy 28.
[00:11:19] And I want to preface a couple things before we jump in this afternoon.
[00:11:24] Number one, I don't want to make little of genuine suffering and pain that people have walked through.
[00:11:33] I'm not trying to get negates the pain of what we're about to jump into. There's real suffering that's happened under these categories. I don't want to make you feel less spiritual if you've experienced this. I don't want to diminish your pain. But at the same time, I want to open up the word of God and stir up faith in you. I want to strengthen your resolve. I want to see you get fully free and stand with you in this fight of faith. Amen.
[00:11:54] And the second thing is, if you've experienced these things or you are, you know, have experienced or currently experiencing, that doesn't mean that God himself is cursing you.
[00:12:05] And the old. We're not under the old covenant, we're in a new covenant. And sometimes we experience these things because we live in a broken world. There's sin involved and, you know, there's. There's all these other factors. And so we can experience things that are under the curse, though God's not cursing us himself.
[00:12:21] So I don't want you to feel like you're being cursed by God if you've experienced this. But I want you to realize that no, you are blessed in Christ Jesus. No matter what you're experiencing. God is able to flip it 180 degrees around because of what Jesus has done. Amen.
[00:12:34] All right, so the three that we're going to be talking about is barrenness and miscarriages, sickness and disease and poverty.
[00:12:46] I know three very sensitive.
[00:12:48] All in one. So this is probably 10 sermons condensed in one. So if I don't get every single nuance right, please don't stone me after the service. All right, Introducing you to these three subjects, and we'll clean up any messes that come along the way. Okay, so the first one, barrenness and miscarriages.
[00:13:09] If you could put up Exodus 23:26. This is the old covenant here. This is what God told Israel.
[00:13:16] He says, there shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land.
[00:13:23] Wow.
[00:13:24] What is he saying? He's saying, under the old covenant, dependent on your righteousness, obedience, there will be no one miscarrying or barren in your land. That it's actually God's will for us to be fruitful and multiply and carry babies all the way full term.
[00:13:42] And I, you know, my wife and I, we actually were trying to have kids for about eight months, and. And I thought, you know, I thought we were just going to one and done, first try, have a kid.
[00:13:53] But after the first month, when we saw the pregnancy test was negative, that really hurt. Our hopes just kind of sank to our feet.
[00:14:02] And that started getting us on this journey month after month, getting negative result after negative result.
[00:14:07] And I would start to just give myself to prayer and to the Word. I'm saying, God, what is going on here? Help me see.
[00:14:14] Help me realize what's your will in this matter? And so I began to dig into the scriptures, and I go on these long prayer walks. And I remember one night I was outside walking, praying, and all of a sudden, this zeal just came over me. I don't know, it was from the Lord, I believe.
[00:14:32] And I started to pray. Very bold prayers. You know, when you. When you start to get a glimpse of what God desires, and you get zeal in your heart, you start to pray prayers that make others uncomfortable.
[00:14:43] You get that, Rachel cry, give me children or else I die. You know, just like that zealous heart. And so I'm walking and I'm like, wait a minute. I'm like, drug dealers got five baby mamas, 10 kids, no problem.
[00:14:58] Muslims have six kids, eight kids, 10 kids, 12 kids, absolutely no problem. And they're not raising up their kids in godliness.
[00:15:06] They're not training them in the Word. They're not forming the image of God in them. They're not taking them to church.
[00:15:12] I'm like, Mormons, a cult, have as many kids as they want packing out churches.
[00:15:20] And I'm like, I refuse to believe that the devil can make his kids more fruitful than God can make his kids.
[00:15:26] You telling me that there's no demonic agenda behind infertility in the church where godly Christian couples want to raise up their kids in righteousness and. And teach them the way of the Lord. And they struggle to even have one or two kids while people that don't have any of that can have as many as they want. I started getting zealous. I'm like, not in our bodies. I'm like, the devil's not going to bless his kids more than you bless yours. And I'm walking. I thank you. I thank you, God. Blessed is the fruit of my womb. I'm going to have as many kids as I want. We want six kids, and we're going to have six kids. I'm ready for the minivan life. Whatever God has come on. God said, be fruitful and multiply. I don't know about you, but multiplication isn't one or two kids. That's replacement.
[00:16:12] God's will is not replacement. His will is that you multiply. I'm telling you. 4, 5, 6. We're going to have the. We're going to have the largest kids ministry in this region.
[00:16:22] We're going to have a transit van collection, passenger vans, 12, 15 passenger vans filling up that parking lot.
[00:16:32] Because this is the will of God, that we would be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth with his image.
[00:16:38] Tell me the enemy doesn't come after kids. What happened in the days of Exodus with Pharaoh? What was he doing? He was killing the firstborn sons. What was happening in the days of Jesus? Herod was killing the firstborn sons. The enemy loves to come after infants because they're vulnerable, because he knows the power that's in them. But we as God's people are called to be fruitful and multiply.
[00:16:58] In Exodus 1, we actually see this with Israel.
[00:17:02] They're in the land of Goshen in Egypt, and they're having so many kids that Pharaoh's getting nervous.
[00:17:10] Actually, if you look at the timeline, they got into Egypt and by the time, they had only 30 years to get to this point is what I'm trying to say. They got into Egypt and then 30 years later, they were enslaved by Pharaoh. So within 30 years, they're having so many kids that it freaked Pharaoh out.
[00:17:26] Like, these people are so fruitful. They're going to overtake us and overtake our nation. So we have to put them under slavery.
[00:17:33] That's how fruitful Israel was under the old blessings. How much more fruitful should we be now, this is not to anyone's shame. I believe God's going to heal people of traumatic miscarriages. I believe God's going to heal people of Baroness. We're going to see testimony after testimony come out of this Sunday of people that have been trying for months or years to have children. And all of a sudden you're going to have twins, you're going to have triplets, you're going to have as many as you want because you're going to raise them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
[00:18:02] Some of you are going to act on this word. Now, please wait till you leave the church parking lot before you act on this Word.
[00:18:10] We got to partner with the Word and bring obedience in Jesus name.
[00:18:15] Deuteronomy 28:4.
[00:18:21] I got to be careful with jokes I make here. This one's being live streamed. Praise God.
[00:18:25] Praise God.
[00:18:31] He says in Deuteronomy. Here. Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb.
[00:18:37] So I. We were trying for several months. We get to this evangelists meeting and we run up there. We're just hungry for more of God.
[00:18:45] My wife and I are holding hands, lays hands on us. We're in Salem, Oregon. We fall out under the power. And I expect, you know, the first thing God would say is within six months, your youth ministry is going to see revival. You're going to get this and that. None of that happened. The first thing that he said to me when I hit the ground is, by this time next year, you'll have a child.
[00:19:04] I was like, whoa. I wasn't even thinking this. So I wrote it on a note card, put it in my car. Every time I'd get in my car, I'd grab it and I'd declare it by this time next year, by. By June 11, 2026, we will have a child. I'm declaring the promises of God waging warfare according to prophetic words given to me.
[00:19:21] And month after month goes by, still getting negative results. September rolls around, we find out we're pregnant and we give birth to our daughter. Two weeks before that word would expire.
[00:19:30] May 29, 2026.
[00:19:34] I'm telling you God is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that you could ever ask, think or imagine according to the power that works within. Within you. Some you've been waiting for years that today's the day God's going to remove Baroness and give you as many children as you desire. That's his will. Can someone say amen?
[00:19:51] So blessed shall be the fruit of your Womb, man, I declare this over our baby all the time. I'd anoint my wife's belly with oil. I declare blessed is the fruit of our womb. Like you're. You're going to have no challenges, no disability, because blessed is the fruit of our womb. You're not going to have any birthing complications. We're going to have the best birth. Our birth was blessed, Praise God. As our first kid, we got to the hospital at 3. The baby came at 4, still in the water sack just like it was. It was a blessed birth because blessed is the fruit of your womb. And I'm prophesying, I'm holding my baby, you know, she's crying at night. It's 3am But I'm speaking in tongues, and I'm prophesying, blessed is the fruit of the womb. You're going to get. You're going to be reading by two, speaking in tongues at three. You're going to be doing long division long before anybody else. You're going to put all of the. All of the kids to shame in elementary school. You're going to be developing quicker than anybody, because blessed is the fruit of our womb. We're under the blessing of God. Can you say Amen?
[00:20:48] Amen. Someone's getting it right there. All right, number two, you still with me this afternoon? Yes. Okay, let's have some fun.
[00:20:57] Number two, Sickness and disease.
[00:21:03] Divine health is a blessing.
[00:21:06] Exodus 23:25. We could throw it up on the screen there, but you shall serve the Lord your God. He will bless your bread and your water, and I will remove sickness from your midst. Is this old covenant or new covenant?
[00:21:19] Oh, do we have better promises or worse promises?
[00:21:23] So if God removes sickness from their midst based on their obedience in the old covenant, how. How much more is it now in Christ's obedience in the New covenant?
[00:21:32] There's a list of curses in Deuteronomy 28. I don't want to get there because it kind of ruins the vibe in the room, talking about all, you know, I'm not going to go there.
[00:21:41] But we don't have to experience any of the curses of Deuteronomy 28. And in there we have fever, inflammation, madness, which is mental health issues, all of those things.
[00:21:52] Christ put it on his cross, and you walk in resurrection, power and life. It is not your portion. Can someone say amen?
[00:22:00] That's good. I like it. You guys are waking up soi in the house. Praise God.
[00:22:09] You know, I'm not gonna spend too much time on this because I really Want to get to point number three, but sickness and disease. Do you know that Jesus, through his cross, has made full provision for divine healing? Do we believe that this afternoon there's three things that Jesus paid for on the cross?
[00:22:26] Number one is sin. Number two is death, which is all the effects of sin, which includes sickness and death.
[00:22:32] And number three is the demonic powers.
[00:22:36] So through the cross, Jesus made it fully possible to be saved, healed, and delivered.
[00:22:44] Now.
[00:22:46] But here's the challenge that I see with divine healing is we oddly put it in a separate category from the other two.
[00:22:54] What do I mean by that? When I meet with coffee for someone that is not saved, that has not given their life to Jesus, that they don't have the forgiveness of sins, I could sit with them and I have full confidence that it's God's will for them to repent that day, be forgiven that day, and be saved that day? Yes.
[00:23:11] Any of us doubt that that would be the will of God in that moment?
[00:23:15] No. If I meet with someone that's struggling with demonic oppression, I can know for a fact that it's God's will for them to be delivered that day, set free completely. Yes.
[00:23:27] I've never met with a demonized person. Go, you know, actually, I think God wants you to have this demon for another few years. Just kind of humble you because I got this major pride vibes off of you right now.
[00:23:37] I've never met with someone. My wife and I, we've done like 50 plus deliverances. That's a story for another time. Have a big passion to see people free. But every single person walked through the doors. I have full confidence that God wants to deliver them that day.
[00:23:50] But when it comes to healing, I don't know why we put it in a separate category. We sit with someone that's struggling with sickness or disease and we're like, I don't know if God wants to heal you right now, maybe it'll be in a few years time, I don't know. If I lay hands on you, if anything will happen, we start to put it in a separate category. Why do we do that if they're all three included and paid for in the atonement of Jesus Christ?
[00:24:12] The same way God wants to save someone today and deliver someone today, he wants to heal them today.
[00:24:18] All three were paid for on the cross. All three we see in the life of Jesus. Jesus, every single demonized person he encountered, he delivered them that day. Every single lost person he encountered, he said, your faith has saved you. Every single sick person he encountered he healed them that day.
[00:24:37] It's very simple. It is the will of God for us to be healthy and to be healed. In Jesus name can you say amen?
[00:24:44] So if you're struggling with sickness or disease in your body, I want you to get your faith way up, not on your own works, but on the finished work of Jesus and step into the healing that he paid for. Amen.
[00:24:56] And lastly, third point before we pray is poverty.
[00:25:04] Yeah, get real controversial. Praise God.
[00:25:09] Now I. Who am I talking to at this point? I'm not talking to the person that's sitting on their couch working eight hours a week at doordash, hoping that God would pay all their bills and bring financial prosperity into their life.
[00:25:20] The sermon is not for you. You need to go through the Kingdom finance class couple times, make sure it gets really cemented in you.
[00:25:27] I'm speaking to those that, that are able to work and want to work full time. And it feels like no matter how hard they work, no matter how hard they budget, their business can't get off the ground. The deals are not coming, the promotions don't come. They're constantly hitting roadblock after roadblock financially. And I believe God wants to bring financial breakthrough in the room today.
[00:25:46] Can you say amen?
[00:25:52] Okay, I'm gonna go into the word here.
[00:25:57] You know, actually personal story here. I grew up under what we call the poverty gospel, where I would read amazing stories like Hudson Taylor, who would write letters to his mom. He was a missionary to China, and he'd brag about how little food he can live on, like only half an ounce of cheese and half an apple for breakfast. And they would brag about how little and how poor they could be, as if it was a righteous virtue.
[00:26:21] I grew up under, like John Wesley, who when he died, he had only some books and four silver spoons to his name.
[00:26:29] That's it. That's all he had.
[00:26:31] But I began to see that actually the poverty gospel is not a biblical gospel, that it's not God's will for his people to live broke and in poverty and in lack paycheck to paycheck all the time, but it's actually his will for his people to be prosperous, just like Abraham. Abraham was blessed so that all nations might be blessed through him.
[00:26:49] Abraham prospered not just relationally, though that's true, we believe that. But Genesis 13:2 says he prospered in silver and gold and livestock. He was wealthy not for his own sake, but for the sake of others to live radically generous. And so I began to slowly Renew my mind. And.
[00:27:07] And I began to realize it's actually God's will for us to be blessed.
[00:27:11] And that's actually why God stuck Israel into the promised Land.
[00:27:18] Because some people say, you know what, Like I believe that. But you know how the economy is, brother.
[00:27:24] It's a little tough out here.
[00:27:27] Actually, the blessing of God is so strong, it doesn't matter what the economy is.
[00:27:31] How do I know that? Because in the Old Testament, Israel is placed in the promised land. And that was not the land of abundance.
[00:27:40] Down south they had Egypt and the Nile. That place always flooded. They always had food during times of drought. Above the promised land was Mesopotamia, Syria, Babylon, the land between two rivers. They always had an abundance based on the rivers. But Israel, they didn't have any major river systems. They had to rely on the rain. And that wasn't very consistent in the ancient East. So God purposely put Israel in a land of lack so that when they obey him, he would abundantly bless him and all the nations around Israel go, man, what kind of God is it that you serve that even in times of drought you're prospering?
[00:28:15] Are you with me?
[00:28:17] And that that's actually meant to draw nations to Yahweh? So the church of the Living God is supposed to be so blessed financially that the loss and people from other religions go, I don't know what it is about your God, but he seems to be greater than the US economy, greater than the world economy. When things are taking a dip, you're going up. And that's the will of God for His church, that we would prosper in all ways. Actually, if you look at Deuteronomy 28, most of the blessing is actually have to do with material possessions.
[00:28:51] Deuteronomy 23 NLT says, Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed. The offspring of your herds and the flocks will be blessed. Your fruit baskets and breadboards, your charcuterie boards will be blessed.
[00:29:06] Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed.
[00:29:12] Verse 8. The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain.
[00:29:18] The Lord your God will bless you in the land he has given you. Verse 11. The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to you numerous livestock, abundant crops. He will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work that you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them. If you listen to these commands, you will be the head and not the tail. You will always be on top and never be at the bottom.
[00:29:44] Wow.
[00:29:45] Remember what I said? Because you're in Christ Jesus, the perfectly righteous one. All of these blessings are yours in him.
[00:29:55] Man, I remember I was walking through Costco when I was starting to learn this, And I'm walking through, and I'm like, man, I love my beef. I'm a beef guy.
[00:30:07] I get made fun of for how much beef I eat. I actually start to smell like beef because of how much I eat.
[00:30:14] Yeah. And walking through Costco, and I'm looking, I'm like, man, beef prices are getting out of hand.
[00:30:22] That steak used to be $12 a few months ago. Now it's 15. My God.
[00:30:27] I'm like, oh, these prices are going up too. And I'm walking through, and the Lord just kind of confronts me. He's like, Bogdan, you're thinking with a poverty mentality.
[00:30:38] He says, doesn't matter how much beef prices go up if it's healthy for you to eat beef. And it helps the kingdom, I'm funding it.
[00:30:46] And I just begin to think, man, I'm thinking, like, I don't serve the God who owns all the silver and gold.
[00:30:52] Sometimes we think like, we have to save God money. And so we. We. We live on in lack paycheck to paycheck. We don't realize that, actually, God's pocketbooks are pretty big.
[00:31:03] And it's his will not only for you to have everything you need, but even some of your wants as well. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. Oh, that'll get you.
[00:31:13] It's his will for us to be blessed.
[00:31:16] If we have. I don't know if we're able to throw on that graphic. Is it possible.
[00:31:21] I have a little picture for you. Oh, it does work. Look at this. I've learned from years at teaching at kmsm, people really like photos.
[00:31:29] And so we're gonna take a look at this really quick. This is fun. This is from the Pew center of Research. This is household income according to US Religious groups.
[00:31:40] It's very credible source, and it's ranked. So I'm gonna focus on the people that make 100,000 or more. We have at the top of the list, wealthiest people in the U.S.
[00:31:50] jewish and Hindu. Why are Jewish the wealthiest? Because they understand the old covenant and the blessings that come with it.
[00:31:57] We're grafted into that tree. I don't understand why we don't experience those lessons. Keep it up there. Keep it up. We got to go a little Further. There you go.
[00:32:05] So 44% of Jewish people make a hundred thousand or more. Then below them we have Hindus, then the Episcopal Church, Presbyterian. Then we have atheists and agnostics.
[00:32:16] Are that high on the list? Don't have the blessing of God, are not in Christ Jesus, don't have the fullness of the spirit. Atheists and agnostics, they're up there. Then we have a list of other denominations that are not traditionally spirit filled. Orthodox, Christian, United Church of Christ, Evangelical Lutherans, United Methodist, PCA Church, Unitarian Universalists, Lutherans, Mormons, Muslims, all us adults.
[00:32:42] My God, we're behind all us adults. We're just, we're below average, even Catholic. Look, nothing in particular. The confused people, they don't even know they're prospering and they don't even know. They don't even know what God they serve, what energy they're a part of. They're confused people. Nothing in particular.
[00:33:02] Churches of Christ, Southern Baptist Convention, Seventh Day Adventists, Buddhists. Buddhists that take a vow of poverty are wealthier.
[00:33:10] My God, you guys.
[00:33:13] Below the Buddhists are our first spirit filled Christian group. Assemblies of God at the bottom of the list, just barely above jehovah witnesses.
[00:33:24] With 10% of people making a hundred thousand or more. How is it that the people of God that claim to have the fullness of the spirit and the blessing of God are some of the poorest groups in the U S that Atheists, agnostics, nothing in particular. Buddhists are living more prosperous than we are as a church of the living God filled with the Spirit.
[00:33:42] That crazy.
[00:33:46] It is not the will of God for us to live in. Lack actually the LDS Church.
[00:33:56] Oh, I never gave you this photo. That's okay, I'll just share it with you guys. But I had this map of all the real estate the LDS Church owns and they own about $15.8 billion of real estate across the US and they're not that big. There's only less than 10 million Mormons. I believe 15.8 billion. There's a reason why Salt Lake city is like 40% Mormon. Why they own so much of the big businesses because they understand that wealth is power.
[00:34:25] What would the Church of God do if we walked in the blessing of God and all the money we needed to fund the kingdom in its fullness.
[00:34:32] And I'll close with this story but a few months ago I was wrestling through this because I grew up under a very poverty mentality. Lack and I had Alex and Mira Stash go over at our place. Love them to death. So happy they were with us now. And I remember Mira said something, she said, bogdan, you study the early church fathers, you study the greats throughout church history.
[00:34:57] What are the two biggest barriers that they have that hinder the call of God on their life?
[00:35:03] I was like, that's a very interesting question.
[00:35:05] And I'm like, well, when I studied, by far, the two biggest barriers are lack of money and bad health.
[00:35:14] That took out more ministers of the gospel, some of the greatest, because they had health problems or they were too poor. So they were so poor they couldn't even feed themselves properly, and they die of malnutrition.
[00:35:27] And I realized that's why the enemy attacks these two categories so much, because if he could just get us sick enough and broke enough, our mind will be so occupied with those things, we won't actually focus on the kingdom of God.
[00:35:40] People that are from hospital appointment to hospital appointment, medication, medication, diagnosis to diagnosis, their mind is consumed with those things, and they're not free to actually fully give themselves to the call.
[00:35:52] When you're living paycheck to paycheck and you're in debt and you don't know when your rent's gonna come in, you're not thinking about how to be a blessing to others. You're thinking about how do you live and survive.
[00:36:02] But when you're free in this, those. Those two areas, and you're walking in divine health and you're living financially blessed, you all of a sudden are you have the capacity to actually fully seek the kingdom of God and not have anything to hinder you. Let me give you an example, and we're gonna pray here. Imagine you go to a restaurant and you're living paycheck to paycheck. You know, maybe Ivan says you shouldn't be going to a restaurant if you're living paycheck to paycheck. But for the purpose of illustration, let me. Let me just say it, but imagine you go to a restaurant with your wife living paycheck to paycheck. What are you thinking about when you open that menu?
[00:36:35] Someone tell me how much of the prices. What are you. Are you looking at the appetizers? Nope. You. Are you looking at drinks? No way. You have water? My God, get some lemon in that water. That's all you need.
[00:36:50] Are you looking at the most expensive entree? I know you want the steak, but you're like, I'm probably going to get the dish that has no meat in it. $22, the cheapest thing I could find.
[00:36:59] Are you looking at Giving a big tip?
[00:37:02] No, actually they say that a waitress's worst day to work, the least desirable is Sunday afternoon because all the church people leave church and they tip so little that they don't want to work that day.
[00:37:18] So when you're living in paycheck to paycheck, struggling to make ends meet, you're not thinking about being a blessing to your waitress. You're not thinking about being blessing to those around you. Your mind is consumed with lack.
[00:37:29] But imagine you go into a restaurant and you have plenty of money in your pocket. You get to order what you want, you get your wife to order what she wants, you get the drinks you want, and all of a sudden you're like, you know what? I'm going to leave a hundred dollar tip and I'm going to pray for my waitress and bless them. You know what? I'm going to pay for that family right next to me and that family right next to me, I'm going to tell them about the love of God and how generous he is. All of a sudden when you're living in financial health, you're not thinking just about yourself and your lack, but you're looking to be a blessing for others. That's why it's the will of God for you to be financially successful.
[00:37:58] Is that so you could be free to be a blessing to others.
[00:38:01] And I believe today God's going to be blessing businesses. I believe God's going to be blessing people with job promotions. I believe that people are looking for a job, they're going to find a job.
[00:38:09] You just stand to your feet, that'd be amazing. I remember one youth talked to me, he's like, Bogdan, I'm applying to so many different places and, and I feel like nobody's going to get back to me. I'm like, listen, you're blessed by God. Even if there's 200 applications, yours isn't going to find its way to the very top because you're under the blessing of God. It's his will for you to work and to have plenty of money to be a blessing to others.
[00:38:32] We have to start shifting our thinking. We have been redeemed from the curse.
[00:38:36] So I want to invite the ministry team up front and if we can get some more than first service just to kind of prepare for a response.
[00:38:46] But I believe today couples that have been trying to have kids for months or years, God's going to open up wounds at wounds and heal people and we're going to see many babies come out of this service.
[00:38:57] I Believe that those that have been struggling with sickness or disease, their faith is going through the roof and they're. They're going to receive the healing that Jesus paid for through the cross, through his stripes. And I believe God's actually releasing financial breakthrough in the room today. Maybe you've been working hard and your business isn't pulling through. The contracts aren't pulling through. You feel like you're hitting dead ends. But today is a day of breakthrough. You will be blessed. So you could be a blessing to the kingdom of God.
[00:39:25] And I, even in prayer, I felt like, specifically with that third point, prosperity, I. I feel like people that are in the ministry that are giving themselves to the preaching and teaching of the Word, the Bible says they're worthy of double honor, that a laborer is worthy of his wages. I believe those that are specifically in the ministry, I believe there's financial breakthrough for you.
[00:39:47] I was preaching in a conference, and I prophesied over one gentleman. I said, this is the bro. This is the poorest your ministry will ever be. I sense a major financial breakthrough for you. And about a month later, he. We get to talking. He's like, bogdan, after you prophesy that someone sowed the largest seed they've ever sewn into my evangelistic ministry of $3,000, I was like, let's go. And he said, and then two weeks later, someone came and sowed $5,000. He's like, this is the greatest our ministry has ever been. Now we can actually fund fully the Kingdom of God. We could do the block parties. We could do the evangelism. We could buy as much pizza as we need to reach the lost because God has blessed us. And I believe God's blessing people that are in the work of ministry, even today, those two things, business and ministry, are going to be abundantly blessed so that you can be a blessing to others. Amen.
[00:40:33] So right now, if that's. If you're in any of those three categories, I want you just to come up front. Even if there's no space on the ministry team or an opening, just come up front. In this atmosphere of faith. I believe today God's bringing breakthrough. I believe today there's going to be a release in Jesus name. Miracles, signs and wonders are going to back up the word of God as he stretches out his hand in the name of his holy servant, Jesus. I believe whatever the enemy meant for evil, God is flipping it for good.
[00:40:58] In Jesus name, Father. Right now, I pray for our church community. I thank you that we're going to be fruitful and multiply. We're going to fill the earth and subdue it. We're going to spread your image all across the globe. In Jesus name. I thank you that it is possible in the will of God to not have any baroness or miscarriages in our midst. Thank you. That people are going to have kids and they're going to have full term babies in Jesus name. We thank you Lord that those that have been struggling for years that God, if you could do it for Sarah when she was 90 years old, you can do it for them. God, if you could do it for Elizabeth when she was advanced in age, when she had John the Baptist, you could do it for them. I thank you that faith is arising in the room for the miraculous that wombs are opening in Jesus name right now. God, we break off all sickness and disease through the stripes of Jesus Christ. We thank you that just like you purchased salvation and deliverance, you purchase healing. And it's your will to heal today, not tomorrow, not five years from now, but it's your will to heal today. So we rebuke all sickness and disease in Jesus name. In the mind, in the body, in the heart, in Jesus name.
[00:42:04] Come on, if you just lift up a prayer right now, just lift up your prayer language.
[00:42:08] We're going to intercede as a church.
[00:42:11] Let's just you stretch your hands if you're not responding. But we're just going to pray and believe for the power of the Holy Spirit. I sense that we're about to step into a moment of praise and chains are going to break off. I just see it.
[00:42:22] Doors are opening that no man can close in Jesus name.
[00:42:29] Come on, lift up that, that prayer language of yours. We're a house of prayer here.
[00:42:37] I prophesy breakthrough in Jesus name business contracts in Jesus name monthly partners in Jesus name promotions and increase in Jesus name.
[00:42:57] There's going to be nothing that hinders your church from advancing the kingdom. We're going to be the healthiest, we're going to be the holiest, we're going to be the most financially well off to fund the kingdom in its fullness. In Jesus name. There's going to be no barriers to the dreams and the call of God. We break off every limitation in Jesus name.
[00:43:16] We break off generational poverty in Jesus name. Just because your grandparents knew lack, just because your parents knew lack doesn't mean it continues with you. As for you and your house, you are blessed in Jesus name.
[00:43:40] Second year students, if you're in the room, second year graduates just start to lay hands. Help us minister.
[00:43:45] Ask people what they're believing for so we two or three can agree and we can stand in faith for God to do it.
[00:43:54] Thank you for joining Kingdom Movement Online. I pray and hope that that sermon impacted you deeply. I would love if you shared this with a few friends and family and. And before you go, don't forget to subscribe. See you next week.
